The Company

James Wickstead  Design Associates, Inc. was established in 1968 and has specialized in the Design and Development of new products in the Industrial, Consumer and Medical Device markets. With a staff of highly skilled product specialists, we provide Conceptual Design, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Software Development, Industrial Design and Production Development services for a variety of Fortune 200 and other smaller companies. JWDA projects range from consumer products to "Class III" medical devices. Turnkey projects have contributed to both our clients and our success. 

JWDA's expertise includes; microprocessor control systems, electromechanical interfaces, embedded and PC based software development and product packaging. The company also has broad regulatory experience, and the ability to provide assistance for agency approvals from UL to FDA. We can help bring products to market with a high level of quality. JWDA is not captive to any one manufacturer, and can design a complete turnkey package to help our clients enter the production process with quality driven third party manufacturers or using their own approved facilities.
