JWDA was retained to develop a portable refrigerant weighing & charging system. The design called for development of a digital scale capable of weighing refrigerant canisters up to 110lbs with an accuracy of +/-0.25 oz.  The product needed to be very rugged, compact and low cost and battery powered. JWDA sourced the appropriate load cell and provided all product design and development including electrical engineering, software, packaging and production documentation. 

Later, JWDA was asked to develop a module capable of attaching to a refrigerant module and interacting with the scale to accurately control refrigerant loading & unloading.
